Fast descents and spectacular bends

Are you ready for the ultimate toboggan adventure? With its 850 m downhill run, the Othal Coaster delivers pure adrenaline and thrills. On your way down, ten exciting steep bends, four thrilling waves, and two gripping spirals await – guaranteed to get your heart racing. You’ll reach speeds of up to 40 km/h – that’s tobogganing at its best!

Before the adventure begins, the 350 m uphill run takes you comfortably to the starting point. Here you can enjoy the anticipation before you dive into the fast descent. The Othal Coaster is not only technically impressive, but also built to last: a total of 141 tonnes of material were used to guarantee you a safe and unforgettable ride.

FACTS ABOUT the Othal Coaster!

Who is allowed to ride?

• People aged 8 and over with a minimum height of 1.35 m may use the ride on their own.
• Children aged 3 to 7 may only use the ride together with an older person (aged 8 and over, min. 1.35 m tall). These older persons must be familiar with the ride and must have been assigned responsibility by the supervising or legal guardian.
• The sled may be loaded with a maximum of 150 kg.

Riding is prohibited for:

• Children under 3 years of age.
• People who, due to physical or mental impairments, cannot sit properly on the sled or operate it correctly. In some cases, use is possible when accompanied by qualified staff or a trusted person who assumes responsibility.
• Pregnant people.
• People under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol, drugs, mind-altering medication).
• Animals as well as bulky, sharp, or loose objects may not be transported.

What should you keep in mind?

1. Each passenger uses the sports facility at their own risk and must wear suitable clothing.
2. Choose your speed so that neither you nor others are put at risk. A minimum distance of 25 m from the sled in front must always be maintained.
3. Bumping into other sleds is strictly prohibited; the person who bumps is liable for all consequences.
4. Arms and legs must be kept inside the sled for the entire ride.
5. The person in front must always keep their hands on the handhold. It is forbidden to touch the track or reach under the sled.
6. The seat belt must be fastened during the entire ascent and descent and must not be opened.
7. Loose items of clothing such as caps, scarves, and shoelaces, as well as long hair, must not come near the track or the sleds’ running wheels.
8. Accidents and damage must be reported to the operating staff immediately.
9. If environmental conditions do not guarantee visibility of 25 m (e.g. fog, thunderstorms, darkness), operations will be suspended.
10. Instructions from staff must be followed at all times. If the terms of use are not observed, use may be prohibited.
